PhD Maine

Dr Michael Mlodzianoski earned his PhD in Physics from the University of Maine in 2015. He has a background in developing single molecule localisation microscopy techniques, including extensive experience in 3D imaging, spectrally resolved super-resolution and adaptive optics implementations to compensate for optical aberrations in tissue imaging.

At the Institute Dr Mlodzianoski oversees the OMX-SR structured illumination microscope. He also continues to work on 3D and adaptive optics for single molecule localisation microscopy.

He is interested in developing new techniques and methods to help researchers find answers to key scientific questions.
